PARTICIPANT WAIVER, RELEASE OF LIABILITY & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I, the undersigned, hereby confirm that I am voluntarily participating in the PRU Run 2026, presented by PruLife UK in partnership with: China Gold, Fliq Athletics, and Merge Production

1. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I acknowledge that participating in a running event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, falls, contact with other participants, weather conditions, road conditions, traffic, dehydration, and other unforeseen hazards. I voluntarily assume all such risks associated with my participation in this event.

2. HEALTH & FITNESS DECLARATION

I certify that I am physically fit, medically able, and have adequately trained to participate in this event. I understand that it is my responsibility to stop participating if I experience any medical or physical distress during the event.

3. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration of being allowed to participate, I hereby release, waive, and discharge PruLife UK – Cagayan de Oro, Merge Production, event partners, sponsors, venue partners, local government units, officials, volunteers, marshals, medical personnel, and all other parties connected with the event from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, damages, or causes of action arising from or related to my participation in the event, including injury, illness, loss, or death, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. EMERGENCY MEDICAL CONSENT

I authorize the event organizers and medical personnel to provide emergency medical treatment in the event of injury or illness during the event. I understand that any medical expenses incurred shall be my responsibility.

5. EVENT RULES & REGULATIONS

I agree to comply with all event rules, race guidelines, and instructions given by event officials, marshals, and volunteers. I understand that failure to follow instructions may result in disqualification. I acknowledge that: Registration is non-transferable and non-refundable Shirt sizes and registration details are final once submitted Proxy runners are not eligible for podium finishes The name submitted during registration will be reflected in the official race results

6. IMAGE & MEDIA CONSENT

I grant permission to the event organizers to use photographs, videos, recordings, or any other media taken during the event for promotional, marketing, and documentation purposes without compensation.

7. WEATHER & EVENT MODIFICATIONS

I understand that the event organizers reserve the right to modify the course, start time, cut-off time, or cancel the event due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances, in the interest of participant safety.

8. ACKNOWLEDGMENT & ACCEPTANCE

By signing below, I confirm that I have read and fully understood this waiver, release of liability, and assumption of risk. I voluntarily agree to be bound by its terms.
