RUN FOR RESTORATION. RUN FOR HOPE. RUN FOR DIGNITY. RUN FOR A SECOND CHANCE.
Every step can carry a message. Every kilometer can represent hope. And every finish line can remind us that restoration is possible.
The BJMP-X: Pagpahi-uli Run 2026 is more than just a running event. It is a run for a cause—a movement that seeks to inspire compassion, support rehabilitation, and create meaningful opportunities for Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL) as they work toward restoration and reintegration into society.
Pagpahi-uli means restoration, the process of bringing something back, rebuilding what has been broken, and giving someone the opportunity to start again.
For many, a second chance can begin with a simple act of believing that change is possible.
This run represents that belief.
It is a reminder that a person’s past does not have to define their entire future. Through rehabilitation, education, livelihood opportunities, family support, and a community willing to extend compassion, lives can be transformed.
We run for those who are rebuilding their lives. Restoration is not always easy. It takes courage, patience, accountability, and support. This event aims to help strengthen programs that contribute to the rehabilitation and restoration of PDL.
We run because hope gives people the strength to keep moving forward. Behind every person is a story. Behind every mistake is an opportunity to learn. And behind every difficult chapter is the possibility of a new beginning. Your participation helps carry that hope forward.
Every person deserves to be treated with dignity. The BJMP-X: Pagpahi-uli Run 2026 seeks to promote a community that recognizes the value and humanity of every individual—including those who are currently deprived of liberty. Through this initiative, we run not to erase the past, but to help create a better path toward the future.
